Our sweet girl is growing, growing, growing!
Mary Alice went to the pediatrician this month for vaccinations and she weighed 14 lbs. 2 oz. (25 percentile) and 25 inches long (25th percentile). She won’t go back to the pediatrician for a well baby check until she turns 9 months old. She is wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes and is in a size 3 diaper.
She is learning so much right now. She is rolling well, sitting up with very little assistance and talking up a storm. She is mostly just mimicking but has said; bye-bye, no, hey, momma and dada. She is eating baby food twice a day and so far has tried; carrots, sweet potatoes (her favorite), turkey, beef, peaches, prunes, bananas (not a fan), and pears. Oh, I forgot to mention, our little Mary Alice is army crawling. CRAWLING! My baby is too little to be doing things like this!!!
She isn’t too smiley with strangers but loves to smile for people she knows. She has only given us a handful of laughs but the times she does laugh she just makes our day. Usually she looks something like the picture above. She is constantly watching what is going on around her with the most serious little face.
She has managed to collect quite a few nicknames now that she is home. She is regularly called:
malice malice mary alice (when she is being bad)
That is just to name a few.
I love this precious girl. She brings so much joy into our home and I can’t believe she is finally here! (Even though she has been home for over 2 months now!!)
